As part of our celebration we are hosting our 24th Luke Award. \nThe Luke Award is our highest honor and will be presented to \nBill Trezza\nwho works tirelessly to celebrate\, educate and promote our Italian heritage. The award is named for the late Faliero M. Lucaccini\, who worked on behalf of the Central Valley’s Italian-American community and served as Vice-Consul of Italy. \nDetails and tickets will be available in August. \n  \nThe Pacific Italian Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

SUMMARY:Encore screening: A.P. Giannini\, The Legacy of a Little Fellow
DESCRIPTION:AP Giannini was the son of an Italian immigrant who founded the Bank of Italy in San Francisco and led a remarkable career by assisting Italian immigrants with financing\, and was an early investor in Hollywood. Giannini also had close ties to Italian businessmen in the Central Valley. \nThe documentary screening will be at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum on Saturday\, November 7. Director Davide Fiore and two producers will take questions at the end of the film. Randy Welch\, a former Bank of America employee will be sharing some of his Giannini memorabilia with us. \nAs a special bonus\, A.P. Giannini’s car from the California Auto Museum will be on display. \nReception to follow. \nTime and ticket prices will be added soon. \n  \n  \n
